Ride added because of predicted rain on Saturday and Sunday. A John McCauley special! All riding on the roads!

This ride does not actually go through Prettyboy but rides along the perimeter along a wooded area.

Kind of hilly for the first 17 miles and rolling with a few minor hills afterwards. There are no super grades! There is the Glenville Store at mile 24.8 - so plan to stop there for a fast bite and drinks. Optional lunch in New Freedom after the ride.

Group will probably average an 11-14mph pace but all paces are welcome.

Please check this site by 8AM for possible cancellation.

Address of start: 117 N. Front St., New Freedom, PA 17349

Steve First time I have ever heard crossing Beckleysville Rd over the middle of Prettyboy Reservoir called the "perimeter".

marktabb@yahoo.com According to tradition, the Prettyboy lake was named after a settler's horse, Pretty Boy, who drowned in a nearby creek.[11]
