Ride duplicates; date change

Ride duplicates; date change

Can I take a previous ride and just change the date, like you were able to do in cuesheet central?  This would save much typing in the ride description.

Re: Ride duplicates; date change

You should by editing your ride and changing the date, however, you should only do this after your ride date has passed.

Re: Ride duplicates; date change

Bud,

Since the original date of your ride (March 13) has already passed, you can go ahead and make the change you described, especially since you have a duplicate listing for that date.

1. Log on with your user name and password.
2. Go to the ride calendar and click on your ride listing.
3. Your detailed ride listing will appear in a white box in the center of the screen.  Near the top of the box there should be a "Edit" button and a "Delete" button.  Click the "Edit" button.
4. Make the necessary changes to your ride listing, then click "Save".

Re: Ride duplicates; date change

This strikes me as the wrong way to go. If you do this the ride calendar will not function as a history of the rides that were led.

I recently looked back on the rides I led in 2009 to see what rides I led.

if you keep changing the date on your ride, the calendar will show you led one ride in 2010.

I would copy and paste the long part, the description, and put the rest in new.
