How to get ride emails again?

How to get ride emails again?

I have my settings for the emails for upcoming rides set for me to get them; however, I haven't been getting them. What do I need to check to make sure I get the emails for upcoming rides.

Make sure your email address is correct and that the BBC email is not being flagged as spam.

Re: How to get ride emails again?

Thanks for the response.  I have rechecked my settings and they are correct.  Just to be safe, I even reentered my information.  Has there been emails going out this past week?

I normally use Outlook for my email.  I checked my junk folder in outlook and then logged into my MSN account and checked it also.  I even turned off my Norton Anti Spam plug-in.

Re: How to get ride emails again?

I have been getting the emails. Perhaps your email server has excluded these emails on the theory that they are junk.

Here's the thing I would try next, just as an experiment: create a gmail or other free email account, set that as your email address, and see if the messages make it through to that address.

Re: How to get ride emails again?

I just created another email address that is not a MSN account and changed my email in my account setting.  I had some test emails sent to my new email address to make sure that it was working and my computer/cell phone was receiving it correctly.  The  email account is working.  Hopefully I get emails for the upcoming rides tomorrow.

I also noticed that the time is wrong when I post.  It is 8:01 PM EST but the time of the post doesn't reflect that.  Does this mean anything?

I have also noticed that the timestamps are incorrect.

Is there a way to have test emails sent?

Re: How to get ride emails again?

I woke up this morning and checked my email.  I didn't get the ride emails.  Something real strange that I just noticed is that I get the emails concerning my forum post response.  It recognized my new email address and sent me post notifications, but no ride emails.

Re: How to get ride emails again?

I spent some time trying to figure out why it's not working for you and discovered a glitch in the database for your settings.  You should receive the emails now.
