Janet avoids Baltimore County Roads being milled

Janet avoids Baltimore County Roads being milled

Hillside Rd is being milled, possibly only in some sections.  The signage is unclear, only warning of uneven road surfaces.  There is a short strip milled at Hillside and Greenspring Ave as of today (Saturday 4 June).
Hopefully they will repave all of Hillside as it all needs it!

Re: Janet avoids Baltimore County Roads being milled

Must be an election year.

Belfast is milled as well, on the east/south side.

Milling of Hillside is ongoing.  Alternative is Greenspring Valley or Old Court.

Re: Janet avoids Baltimore County Roads being milled

Baltimore County roads being milled which I know about:

  • Hillside Road

  • Belfast Rd

  • Butler Rd (paving of Butler is in progress)

  • Duncan Hill Rd (lower section from Belfast is rough rubble, do not attempt descent!)

  • Seminary Rd from York to Dulaney Valley but should be near completely repaved

  • Monkton Rd from NCR east beyond (little) Falls Rd

  • Shepperd Rd from Monkton to Troyer

Re: Janet avoids Baltimore County Roads being milled

I awoke this morning too late to catch a club ride (long work week) and wondered how I was going to avoid the many milled roads in the county. Here's how I succeeded in about 31.5 moderately hilly miles, starting from Western Run P&R. There are just the cues here; one of you MapMyRide geeks can fill in the mileage and build a cue sheet if the spirit moves you.
