Newsletter on the Site?

Isn't there supposed to be a way, if you're logged into the Web site, to access an electronic version of the current newsletter?  I can't find it . . .

Re: Newsletter on the Site?

Yes.   In the left column, under the box "Main Menu" there is a box labeled "User Menu".

The link to the Newsletter is under that heading.

Re: Newsletter on the Site?

Hmmmm.  I have the "user menu" box, but my only options inside it are "Your Login Details," "Ride Start Directions," and "Log Out."

I was just talking to Gloria on the phone about this and she gave me her ultra-secret, super-powers login  current/smile  current/smile   so I was able to get what I need.

Odd, though.  I feel like the only kid in the class who didn't get the birthday party invite, LOL!

"If you are a BBC member and would like to receive the e-version effective with the next issue, email update@baltobikeclub.org with your name and email address. Please be aware that doing so will automatically remove your name from the hardcopy Newsletter distribution list. You can only receive one version."

I got it in the mail one morning
There was no return address
Just my name in gold leaf on the front
There was no time or location
There was really no info at all
No date, no place, no time, no RSVP
But it said

You are invited by anyone to do anything
You are invited for all time

Re: Newsletter on the Site?

Hi Jeff,
Even though you are a paid up member, you must create a member account on the web site to use it as a member. You will not see the "Member Menu" in a separate box below the "Main Menu" until you do and then log in.
On the home page you should see, under the login button, this bullet : No account yet? Register
When you click on the Register HTML, it takes you to the account page where can create your member account (you are accessing the web site as a non member now). Since the process of matching paid up members with their web site accounts is not yet automated, it will take a few days before it is done manually. If you cannot log in after several days, contact Craig Martin; he is in charge of membership enrollment and web site accounts.
Automating this process is one of many requested upgrades to our web site; it high on the list and hopefully will be completed this year.
