I have delayed the start of the River Ride on Sunday, Apr 10 to 12:00 noon due to weather

I changed the date of the Laytonsville ride from Saturday, March 14 to Sunday March 15 because there is less chance of rain on Sunday. John McClurkin

Hey Carl, you should check the start location in the ride and events calendar. The location in your post is in Georgia. John McClurkin

The 13-15 mph Seven Towns and Seven Valleys ride is canceled

Because the federal government has reopened, I have to report to work on Friday, Oct 18. Therefore I am canceling the 13-15 mph group for the Seven Towns and Seven Valleys ride. This group can go forward if another 13-15 mph rider wants to lead. Sorry for the inconvience. John McClurkin (johnmcclurkin@verizon.net)

The web site truncates URLs
Category: Social

When I post a URL to a ride in ridewithgps.com the URL is truncated. The last digit is always on the next line and a space is inserted. When a user clicks on the URL, the last digit is not included.  I can edit the URL by hand, deleting the leading http:// and the space between the next to last and last digits, but not all browser can handle a URL that does not have the leading http://. Has any one else had this problem? Is it possible to have the rides and events calendar properly show multi line URLs? Thanks

The weather forecast shows a high of 70 on Saturday, Sep 14 so I move the start time for the Cooksville to Damascus ride back to 9:00am

I have changed the start time of the Longer Laytonsville Lisbon Loop on Friday, Jul 5, from 9am to 8am to avoid some of the heat.

Hi Rich, The start location that is shown in the annoucement for your Perryville to Oxford ride on Sunday June 30 is in Perryville MO.

Despite the wind, the ride to New Market on Saturday will proceed. We will be riding into the wind to New Market but will riding with the wind on the way home.
