Thanks to Bill Blankenship for getting us 10-12 riders out on a great weather day to enjoy some great scenerey. I let myself get challenged by some faster riders in the front and finished with a 14.0 mph average.

Login not save on Win 7 PC
Category: Social

Not a big deal but just wondering why when I login on my Win 7 PC, I get an error message of 'invalid token' on a blank page, but then if I navigate back, I am logged in for the current session. However, if I close the browser, I have to log back in every time. I noticed that if I use my Win XP PC, my login identity will be saved and I don't have to login each time. I have not seen this on any other web site.

Kudos to Gloria for getting many of us out on a cool day for a pleasant ride with a pancakes in the middle. When I got home, I found that I was missing my small frame pump - I may have put it on my car trunk and absent mindedly left without actually putting it in the car. If anyone found it in the South Carrol HS parking lot, please reply.

I had a good time today on the Eat a Peach challange ride today. Great weather for mid-August. Just curious if any BBCers with technical equipment rode the metric century and recorded the amount of climbing. I took longer than I should have because I had to slip into the granny gears more than once. But the descents were sweet on the backside!

Thanks for a great event today. It looks like we voted with our feet (or bikes) to support a great location. I did the 47 mile ride and appreciated the gentle terrain and low traffic routes for a predictable return time - in time for lunch. The extra loops through the Gettysburg battlefields were a real bonus. I hope we make this location our new tradition! The 'destination' location was a great opportunity to get away from the all too familiar well trod routes in my own backyard.

I wanted to add my note of appreciation to Ken and Cindy and crew for running this event. I rode the metric century and did a personal best in times of of an average speed just a bit under 15 mph. It was one of the best for weather conditions - no storms and not unbearably hot.

Nice alternate ot inbox clutter
Category: Social

I was glad to see more discussion of RSS as a way to avoid inbox clutter. I tried it and I like it a lot! Nice job on the web site! I use 'My Yahoo' as the news reader. I was a subscriber to the digest version of bbctalk and had some fear of getting my inbox cluttered with the individual forum subscriptions until I learned about the forum RSS feature.

One suggested tweak - can the three RSS feeds get distinct labels. Instead of seeing three feeds all labeled as 'BBC Forum', can you add one more descriptor so that I see the feeds labeled as 'BBC Forum - Rides', 'BBC Forum - Technical', and 'BBC Forum - Social'. I don't think I can do that myself in 'My Yahoo'.

Thanks,
Larry
