......  Glad we don't have to do a Bob Wagner memorial ride. It would have to be a hundred miles and I would feel compelled to go on it.

And it would be held in winter with no support:)

Are you still interested in obtaining a Counterpoint Opus? I have an Opus II -- not sure how old it is, but it must be at least 15. Let me know if you want to know more.

Hi Dorothy:  Is this still for sale?  Thanks Charlie

Baltimore Bike Party sponsored Bob Moores Moonlight Madness ride last night.  All I can say is WOW!!  Over 700 cyclists, cheering locals, respectful drivers, wonderful police assistance at major intersections and concluding with a party at Wyman Park Dell, music, dancing, food, beer and smiles.  Bob Moore would be proud.

While the trail is not officially closed it might as well be. Catonsville Rail to Trail held a bike ride to Ft McHenry on the 4th and encountered numerous downed trees along the way.  Consider the Gwynns Falls Trail closed at least along Winans Way and between Windsor Mill and Frederick road.  The new trail spur up Winans had 2 large trees blocking the path. The GFT dirt section south of Windsor Mill and West of Frederick had about 10 trees downed (some very large).  Some trees needed 2 cyclist to pass the bikes over

Folks from Proteus bike shop took Grand Champion.  Their sculpture takes a fun look at the "1%" of our society.  The unicyclist in the mud pit is Ben, one of Bobs Rando rider regulars.  Strong rider that did very well cranking through the mud.  Check out the link.

Balto County board approved the plan, thanks for all your efforts.  We still need to get pass Kamenetz, no slam dunk here.  He doesn't seemed very enamored with cyclist. More on that later, see Loch Raven post.

HoCo Bike advocates have a working relationship with the county police department.  If you have been "buzzed" or harassed  by  a vehicle and report their license, an officer will make a visit to the home of the offending car owner.  No helmet cam needed.  Baltimore city cycling community has a decent relationship with the police, not as good as HoCo though. Baltimore county cyclists, to my knowledge, has no relationship with their police.  We are way behind the curve in this county.
