Hows about a right at Hanover Pike to left on Long ln. R on Longnecker and L on Butler.
That would remove the scary crossing and the Piney Grove section.

You do realize why Long Ln is not on any cuesheet current/lol
Many mapsets are sadly inaccurate and google maps has many errors.  I suggest the Long Ln option be saved for a drier period and not near the end of a 106 mile ride.

Bob, is the route clockwise or counterclockwise? I can't tell from the map on bikely.com.

Click on the Bikely navigation box where there are direction arrows next to "Point 1 of 1305".
Direction is Clockwise

Besides the normal state of the descent (irregular macadam, loose stones and spilled cement) there are numerous potholes and cracks.  Since the hill is heavily forested, curvy, and steep, visibility is poor.

PMS is needed once bbctalk shuts down

If you Preview a PM and then Submit it, then body of the message will be BLANK on receipt and the message will NOT be retained in the Sent folder.

Please avoid the descent of Piney Grove between Longnecker and Butler Rds.  The steep descent is now very dangerous given the current road surface.

Add on the extra 1.5 miles by descending Longnecker then left on Butler, right on Belmont.

The PMS messaging service for the forum was inactivated because of some problems loosing messages.

However, if we are to shut down the bbctalk listserve, then BBC members will need a way to communicate outside the public forum.  The PMS provides such a "vehicle".
Alternately BBC members need access to a complete rider directory of email and other contacts.  Although for the Forum paradigm to work correctly, the PMS is the way to go.

One problem with PMS is specifying multiple message recipients.

How are road conditions after the latest snow event?
Forum: Road Problems

This storm did not deposit much snow, and what it did melted off the roads.
The roads are much wider than they have been.  In general lanes are clear to the white line on the north sides and on the east sides and sometimes showing shoulder.
Morning riding has been dry (until today) but by 11:30am there is a lot of melt water on the roads.
Melt water means watching closely for occult hazards, including but not limited to submerged potholes, grates, and sharp objects.
I did manage to ride 6 days out of the last 8.  Lots of fun, and my bike loves the extra wash down attention its been getting.

Search / UpDown Loading / Display
Category: Social

The Cue Library Search Function should return which County / Distance directory the ride was found in.  There is no way to find the container other than loading the page for a cue sheet.

Rides displayed by the Search Function do not show the Stars and Votes of the ride's ranking (its just empty stars and zero even when the ride is ranked).

Again I request that the file Upload instructions be moved to the bottom of the page.  Cue downloaders don't need to see all this and uploaders can find it.  Then the Submit File button can be joined with the Upload instructions.

Please move the Search button to the top of the page where people looking for cues can easily find it without having to scroll down.

Since Folders are always 2 in the current scheme (<50 miles, >=50 miles) they should be labeled that way on the County Containers summary and the term Files should be relabeled Cuesheets.

Now that we have lots of cuesheets in the library, it would be very helpful if the number of cuesheets displayed per page was configurable.  It is now fixed at 10 per page.  Many web sites allow a range of items returned (e.g. 10/20/50) to be configured (examples include shopping sites such as R** and P********* Bik*).  With many pages of cues, there can be a lot of flipping between pages when looking through the cues offered.
