While I can't make it to Annapolis on Monday, many thanks to those who are going. You guys rock.

Flaming is NOT allowed in BBC forums, period. Anyone who persists will be unsubscribed. Furthermore, there has been quite enough on this topic. It is now CLOSED.

For the record, discussions of safety items such as lights and the batteries that power them are extremely topical and absolutely encouraged. Certainly I would like to know about those uber-bright lights that Isaias runs. Given all the miles he rides without major mishap, he's doing something right!

The Forum is tiresome to use

Another problem with the forums is that a poster's e-mail address isn't available unless she remembers to include it in the post -- and nobody does. I agree with those who say BBCTalk was better, and not just because I was moderator. There's a lot  less work for a moderator to do with so little traffic on the forums, but I'd rather have BBCTalk back.

Cindy, do you have an electronic copy of your new cue sheet available? I will probably have to reroute the Crofton to Chesapeake Beach ride next month as well. Thanks.

Whoa, thanks for the info about Harwood @ 450. Any reason to think the closure will last a whole month? The next Crofton to Chesapeake Beach ride is in late April.

I'm not happy with the Forum and don't wish to lose the old Yahoo list

My $0.02: I like BBCTalk a LOT better (and not 'cuz I'm the moderator). One can reply to the sender directly or reply-all to the sender plus BBCTalk. It's way more convenient than having to go to the Web site.

Yeah, that change would take care of the bad intersection at 30 & Glen Falls. I'll try to take a look at the rest of the route tonight.

Crossing Route 30 at Glen Falls in that direction is extremely hazardous: poor visibility and high-speed traffic. I've nearly gotten creamed there several times. Just sayin'.

Bob, is the route clockwise or counterclockwise? I can't tell from the map on bikely.com.
