This is the classic Snickerdoodles ride to Hampstead. The weather.com forecast for Sunday is temperatures from 38 to 63 degrees, partly cloudy, 10% chance of rain and 14 mph winds. I'm not a fan of wind but we should be okay especially when compared to last Sunday.
For northern Baltimore County and a sliver of Carroll County, this is not a hilly ride although there are a few climbs. I'm leaving at 11 AM for two reasons. First, the later we leave, the warmer it will be. Second, by leaving later we will have two rest stop options: the Snickerdoodles bakery or J J Hoffman's Creamery, they are one block apart. Some riders will have pastry, some riders will have ice cream while elite riders will have both!
Regrouping depends on who shows up and how kind they are feeling. Lately, we've regrouped a lot for which I am grateful.
