The club received a call yesterday informing us that Joe Young from Laurel was injured while riding alone in the Bowie area on saturday.  He was found unconscious on the side of the road by passing motorists.   The cause of his fall is unknown.   He is still unconscious in the trauma unit at Prince Georges Hospital.  The doctors at this pont are "guardedly optomistic".  If you knew Joe or his family, perhaps you could find a way to show you support.  Joe is now 80 years old.
