Hilly, scenic ride to Manchester with snack stop at Sheetz. Ride leader does not sweep, so please be self-sufficient (able to fix a flat or get a dropped chain back on), and be ready to roll at 9:00 a.m. Did I mention it's hilly? Gorgeous vista at highest point is worth it.
HEADS UP: due to Yeoho and Duncan Hill being milled, Steve Zeldin has kindly created a detour cue sheet that takes Stringtown to Falls instead. Email ride leader if you'd like a copy; otherwise, I'll have them tomorrow.
ALSO: Not on the cue sheet is an alternative to the hairy crossing at mile 11.8 (high traffic, very poor sight lines) that adds less than half a mile. Instead of L at mile 11.7, you continue on Trenton to the next L (Arcadia), then at the next intersection (Rt. 30) you turn L again, and Bortner is the first right.
