This is Team BBCs 32 Mile Saturday Ride. All riders are welcome, not just Team BBC members! This spirited loop will leave at 9:00 a.m. sharp from Baltimore Bicycle Works during January and February. The route traverses through Hampden via Roland where we will ride 2 wide in the lane (the bike lane is a dangerous place). We will wind out to Bellona and eventually head to our 1st of 4 segments:
These are spirited segments where you can choose to increase the tempo or not. We will regroup at the end of each.
Segment 1: Thorton (Seminary to Timonium)
Segment 2: Broadway (Cleghorn to Falls)
Segment 3: Park Heights (The elevation part to Greenspring)
Segment 4: Bellemore (From Falls to Roland) **Possible Hill Repeats**
We will also practice a rotating pace line on Hillside. If the group is larger than 8 we will break up into two groups. Focus here is to work on a smooth pace line, not to hammer it.
From Bellemore, we will roll back to the shop.
