This is a snack ride.  The food at the Kentmorr Marina is good, but it can be awhile before you are eating.  So, we can have a crabcake after the ride at a number of good restaurants around the Kent Narrows Bridge.  We will also cut out the leg to the Kentmoor Marina, eliminating crossings of RT 8

 

FLAT ride with an easy bail. Casual riders are welcome. Join us on a flat ride through waterfront, farm, residential communities and wooded scenery on Kent Island. Snack and rest spot at Romacoke pier.  Directions - cross the Bay Bridge and take the first exit (Route 8 South). Turn right at the top of the exit ramp, heading south on Rt. 8.  Go 2.3 miles to Marine Academy Drive and turn right into Matapeake State Park. The parking is about 1/4 mile on the right. If you see fishing boats and the bay, turn around.  If you see a beach, turn around You have gone too far and don't park with the boats or at the beach.
