This ride is a pretty and pretty darn hilly ride.  We'll do some climbing before we get to the Prettyboy watershed then we'll really climb once we're there.  Then we'll finish the ride with just a little more climbing.  There is a rest stop at the Rayville store.  The ride can be shorted by taking Prettyboy Dam Rd to Yeoho Rd.  It may cut off 13 miles.  Rain will cancel the ride.  If it's not raining but there's high heat and high humidity, we could choose a more sensible route, e.g., the Madonna Loop, the Tour de Snickerdoodles or the Piney Hill Loop or just shorten the Prettyboy Plunge.  If access to Oregon Ridge Lodge is blocked, we'll start from Oregon Ridge Nature Center.  The access road to the nature center is directly behind the Oregon Grille restaurant at Beaver Dam and Shawan Rds.
