Join us for a fabulous day of riding, socializing and eating at the 44th Annual Union Mills Homestead Corn Roast Festival. This exciting community event includes live music and vendors, tours of the historic Homestead, grist mill and blacksmith shop. You can even purchase stoneground flours from the Mill.
BBC rides begin at the Homestead and end in time to enjoy all of the activities. SIGN IN, CUE SHEETS AND ALL RIDE STARTS WILL BE AT THE PAVILLION OVER THE FOOT BRIDGE ON OLD HANOVER RD.
The menu includes fried chicken, applesauce, sliced tomatoes, roll & butter, lemonade or iced tea and all the roasted corn you can eat. The corn is roasted in the husks over wood fires, a real treat. The meal is served from 11 am to 5 pm. (2013 -$12)
Consider bringing a cooler with drinks because there are no free refills for the lemonade and iced tea.
