The route takes past horse farms, grain farms, old growth forest , rolling hills and a couple of steep hills on your way to Chesapeake Beach.   There is the panoramic views of the Bohemia River as we cross its bridge &Scotchmans Creek bridge.   In Crystal Beach, there waiting will be be the panoramic view of the confluence of the Ek River & Susquehanna River/Chesapeake Bay with the Turkey Point Lighthouse on the bluff in the background.  Restaurant in Chesapeake City.  Benches at the overlook for those who brought lunch.

Directions: From Baltimore, I-695 to I-95N for 36 miles crossing the toll bridge; take exit 100 towards Pulaski Hiway for 2 miles; Turn left on Pulaski Hiway; go 7 miles to Elkton; turn right Md 213 for 16 miles crossing the C&D Canal Bridge; take the first exit off the bridge (MD-286/MD342); follow MD-286 through Chesapeake City or follow th signs for theC&D Canal museum; the "T", turn(Not Left)  to Pinic area and park.
