If you want to stay for the chili cookoff you have to pay, I think about $5.00, to get in and taste the chili. There is a beer wagon and a band. Bring a lawn chair. It's a lot of fun. Cancellation Policy: The ride will not go if the next day forecast temperature is above 90 degrees or the chance of rain is above 40 percent. Contact Bill or Sally on 410-730-5541 if you have questions. Directions: From the South: Take I-495 to I-270 North. Take Exit 5B (Rt 28, West Montgomery Ave) in Rockville. Follow Rt 28 west (Rt 28 becomes Darnestown Rd) until State Rt 107 branches to the left. Follow State Rt 107 to Poolesville, where it is also named Fisher Ave. Turn Left on West Willard in Poolesville and go .1 mi to park in the Poolesville High School parking lot. From the North: Take I-70 west to New Market, exit 62. Left on Rt 75 (Green Valley Rd.) Follow Rt 75 to Rt 355 (Urbana Pike). There will be a dog-leg to the left joining Rt 80 briefly. Turn left on 355 and follow it to Rt 109 (Old Hundred Rd.). Right on 109 and follow it to Poolesville. Left on Rt 107 (Fisher Ave) then Right onto West Willard. Go 0.1 mi to park in the Poolesville High School parking lot.

This ride goes all the way to Pa--to the Rutters store--and then comes back down Gunpowder Road. Great scenery wonderful back roads. 4549 feet of climbing. The cue sheet is in cuesheetcentral.com under the name 'Prettyboy via PA.' (Don't get Prettyboy via PA II" by mistake. This version was made when the bridge on Gunpowder bridge was out.) The cue library has a package of files for this ride,including the cue sheet in various formats, a gpx file and a map.
