Another John McCauley ride. He led it 2 weeks ago and I think (?) he said only 1 rider attended.

 

This route heads back into MD from New Freedom, crossing the Prettyboy reservoir and then heads west and north going on some roads we do not often use. This ride does not actually go through the Prettyboy reservoir as we know it but stays on the perimeter along the forest.  I remember it as a challenging ride but I did it early in the year when I was not in the best shape. Some very nice rural scenery.  There is a store stop on the way back with rest room.  Also facilities at start. 

 

Please note that this is an entirely different ride from the one he is leading on Sunday. 

 

I will hang back at times with the slower over 10mph riders.
