Scenic tour of the Harford County countryside where you might spy Steampunk metal sculptures, before descending to the historic Havre de Grace waterfront. The route works its way back up before an epic descent into Susquehanna State Park for views of the Susquehanna River. Finally, a gentle but prolonged grind out of the valley before leveling out for a satisfying finish. There is a short stretch of relatively smooth unpaved road in the park.

Mary Ryan will offer a shortcut that bypasses the park loop by continuing straight on Level Rd where the route turns onto Lapidum Rd at mile 21.3.

The ride leader prefers to just grab a snack at the Royal Farms as we exit Havre de Grace. saving his appetite for an ice cream or other treat at Blooms Broom Dairy (http://www.bbdairy.com/) where there is plenty of outdoor space for socially distanced chatter. Others may choose to nosh at one of the many restaurants in the town.
