I wasn't able to ride in December and parts of January because of minor eye surgeries. As a result, I'm not in great shape so I'm forced to do and lead shorter rides. Having said that, I'm offering a beautiful ride through horse country on Sunday morning from Veloccino. Except for a short stretch on a shoulder on York Rd, every road we travel is a winner.
Above I say no regrouping but I don't really know. It's a function of who shows up and how they're feeling. Lately, fellow riders have been exceedingly kind where the faster riders have waited for the slower riders. There's a pancake breakfast at Oregon Ridge but I'm going to avoid it because of the potential crowd. Instead, we have the option of stopping at the Filling Station on York Rd for drinks, food or just a bathroom break. The Filling Station has an extensive menu according to its website.
The forecast for Butler for Sunday is a high of 63, mostly cloudy and 5 mph winds with a 15% chance of rain. Not too shabby for early March
