Join us for a early start scenic, low traffic, and moderately hilly ride through Howard County, featuring a rest stop at mile 13 at the Shell gas station next to Parr’s Spring.  Note that there will be a few challenging hills on this ride.

Parr’s Spring, which forms the headwaters of the Patapsco River flowing east to Baltimore Harbor, was surveyed in 1726 near the town of Parrsville. An important landmark for early surveyors, it marks the four-county junction of Carroll, Montgomery, Howard, and Frederick Counties. Today, the pond and marker are on private property but can be seen from Frederick Road.

Bathrooms and cue sheets will be available at ride start.  Meet in parking lot between the tennis courts and the ball fields. Any questions, text 240-308-1341. Ride leaders’ pace 11mph.
