3/30- Tour de Chase

3/30- Tour de Chase

I thank the following cyclists for joining me today, whether they finished one aspect of the ride or the other:
I thank Kim Kodenski for leading the 24 mile ride.
  Carl D., Rob M., Katie K., Delores M., Jami R., Peggy & Tom D., Lillian B., Alvin F.,Lee y., Larry b., Nancy Joy A., & David S.,
The cyclists had a choice to ride 23.5 or 29 miles today.  Some chose the appropriate cue sheet. Others would decide at the turn-off point.
We began our sojourn under cloudy skies today.  The temperature rose slowly as the morning wore on.
The route would take us through the lowland flat communities before rising north on Ebenezer Rd to Bird River Rd and on the MD 43 bike path.
We ate lunch at George,s Deli at mile 14.   After lunch, we continued the ride as the clouds sprinkled droplets of water upon us.  It didn't last long.
Ebenezer and Earls Road was the cut-off point for the 23.5 mile ride. Here Kimberly led them back to Eastern Regional Park, while I lead the rest on the 28 mile ride.
For the record:
24 mile ride Leader: Kimberly Kodenski; 29 Mile Ride Leader: Bud Lippert
  Distance: 24 or 29 miles;   BBC members:13;  Non-members:2
Weather: chilly overcast day with temperatures began in the high thirties and rising into the forties.
   No falls; no injuries
   No flats or break-downs
   It was great ride.
