Going through my schedule, i entered the Chesapeake City ride for june 14 th.  When I checked I had already entered that ride under Cecil County Ride (I had a Senior Moment)
Any way I could not delete the Chesapeake City ride ( since I entered it, I thought I could could delete the Chesapeake City Ride from the calendar, Leaving the Cecil County Ride. i did not have the authority to delete my ride.
How about the webmaster deleting one or the other.
How about giving the author (ride leader the ability to delete his/her ride from the schedule.
  Thank you

Hi Isais,
Your mileage indicates that your bike is due for a new chain and rear cassette.

Coming to the Chesapeake City Ride this Saturday? (3/27) Rain permitting (this time)
Need a ride to Chesapeake City?

Can I take a previous ride and just change the date, like you were able to do in cuesheet central?  This would save much typing in the ride description.

Bud (

Will or Ed,
Can the phone number be lengthened to include the DOR (Day of Ride)
For example:
This array won't fit the space allotted.
I have been putting the day of ride number at the end of the Description.
Maybe if I take the periods out and run all numbers together, they may fit.
  Bud Lippert (

I am canceling ride for tomorrow.
Too far to go to ride in the rain and high winds.
Rescheduled for Saturday March 27 @ 10 am.
Same parking lot on Bethel RD.
Save the directions to the start.

Chesapeake City Bethel Road Picnic area.
   N39°31.5’; W75°48.3
Is that better, Admin?  Cut & paste from MS publisher.
I don't use GOOGLE for my maps.
I use MS Streets and Trips.
Learning to use Delorme Earthmate software.

Maybe I typed inthe wrong coordinates.
I rechecked my GPS way point And I read
  N39deg 31min,30sec
  W075deg,48min 17 sec
These should put you a the parking lot.

The boat launch is just on the southside (Left turn) of the "T" intersection.  The parking lot is a 1/10th of mile north Right turn)of the intersection.
Once you get across the Rt 213 bridge over the C&D canal, Make a first right turn then follow the signs to the C&D museum.  Instead of a left towards the entrance at the "T"  make a right turn.

Chesapeake City is 50 miles from Essex via Route 40N to Route 213S
If this ride interests you and would like to ride up there with me;contact me at   I can take two at this time.
The ride starts at 9 am at the Bethel Road parking lot.
Directions are with the ride date and description in the schedule.
$5.00 to cross either bridge over the Susquehanna River.
THE coordinates for the ride start are N39deg31.5min; W75deg3min
The main ride is 25 miles with a lunch stop at Hacks Point General store at the 16-milepoint.
There is a 34-mile cue sheet available.  This extra mileage splits the 25 mile and joins back up a the Hacks Point General Store.
The reason for the early start on that day is because Chesapeake City has their St. Patties Day parade beginning at noon and we should be back in time to see all or some of it.

I thank Cindy, Mark & Ken for joining me me on today's ride.
By 10 am, the light dusting on the leaves and grass and disappeared.
Although some meltwater at encroached or crossed the road at some places, the road were mostly dry.
  We rode 25 miles today.

   Thank you,

I thank all those who came out for my ride today.
Thank you, Isais, for riding with me.
Since he was only rider to show, I changed the pace to a 10-12 casual
and since we rode our bikes to the ride start, we included the mileage from and back to home.
I logged thirty miles.  Isais logged more.
  Thank you again.
