All,
It might be a bust for Saturday's PPTC century due to the rainy forecast. I'll get the official word from Johnanna or Geng Friday night and post when I do.

It’s back!! The PPTC Spring Century is back rolling out on Saturday, May 13th at 8:00 am from the Fulton, MD Park and Ride (MD Rts 29 & 216) – offering routes of 43, 50, 75 and 100 miles. This free, semi-supported ride will meander through scenic western Howard Country and rolling terrain of southern Carroll County.

PPTC will provide basic bike food at the centralized Lisbon rest stop. (Century riders get expanded lunch options.) To jazz up the food offering, we ask riders to bring some their favorite bike treats to fill-up the rest stop and end of ride tables. Your favorite ride treats such as cookies, nuts, chips, brownies, or fruit would be welcomed. In addition, the Fulton and Lisbon Park & Ride locations are surrounded by grocery stores, gas stations, etc. No one should ride hungry!

PPTC will also have on hand bike tools and spare tubes. There won’t be any SAG, but in case of an emergency - riders can call for assistance.

Port-a-pots, this year, will be available at both Fulton and Lisbon Park & Ride locations.

For those of you who like to head out "solo" - show and go between 7:30am and 8:00am. If you want to join up with a ride leader - departure is at 8:00am.

Ride Sign-in Starts at 7:00am

Lisbon Rest Stop Hours 9:30am – 3:30pm

Fulton End of Ride Hours 12:00nn – 4:00pm

Volunteers are always needed - contact Nancy Avitabile if you can assist with rest stop or post-ride duty.
