I agree, with you on the Arundel Mills intersection, it's not my favorite place. However, I have ridden it several times, and never felt terribly scared.  If you are patient,  OBEY the traffic rules, and keep in a SMALL tight bunch of riders, the cars have time to see you and the traffic lights keep things under control.  It's certainly better than most of the "bike lanes" in Baltimore City.  Philosophically,  I think it is great for the motorists to see us out there.

I just submitted the revised version of the TriCounty Tour  to the Cue Library.

The revised Tri-County Tour  (Anne Arundel, Baltimore and Howard) should be pretty low key.  I've changed the route to avoid massive hill climbs, tried to find shady roads, and gotten off the busy Anne Arundel roads as much as possible.  It starts at the Lindale Middle school at 8:30.  We will be on Rolling Road, Arundel Mills Blvd  and Rte 174 for a little bit (less than 1 mile each time) but as a group and with the wide shoulders, most people should be comfortable.  Thanks to everyone that gave me feedback to create this.

10-12 group is welcome to come along, but I will not sweep that speed.  :-)

Ride to Bike Virginia Available

Thomas,
That would be great to be able to carpool.  I have one big commitment however, and that is to be in Charles Town WV at about 12 in the morning to look at a dog that I am thinking about adopting.

Will that be a deal breaker?
