4 mile upgrade to Eylers Valley and 1-2 mile 6-8% climb. Rest of ride is gentle.

Selected this ride for the following reasons:

1) Pizza Hut is open at noon in Emittsburg for lunch (holiday)

2) Optional shortcut of 13 miles less after lunch for those concerned about the distance.

3) Very gentle ride except
for a small piece in the middle

4) Gentle winds (medium for this flat area-do not like this area when it is windy)

Ed and Jen will be doing a 12-14mph pace. They will leave 15-30 minutes earlier.
