That Dam TT

That Dam TT is the only road race in Baltimore County. The race is a challenging time trial around the Prettyboy Reservoir watershed. All proceeds from the race are donated to non-organizations providing support to those living with Multiple Sclerosis and those searching for a cure for the disease.

That Dam TT is the MABRA senior championship TT race. All senior races are scored as MABRA category 1.5 races in the road cup. All other races are scored as MABRA category 1.0 races in the road cup. The race is also a part of the Mid-Atlantic Time Trial Series (MATTS).

The course is a challenging 15.5 mile loop that senior and masters racers go around twice. With nearly 100 feet of climbing for every winding mile each racer is encouraged to select either a TT or road bike based on their comfort level and ability. All of the roads have been paved in recent years and the location means that one can go miles without seeing a car. The Junior course for this year is still under review.
